Appearance
Erinyes appear at first to be a sort of dark angel, with dark gray or black feathered wings, smooth pale skin marked with bruises or scars, and solid black eyes that betray not even a spark of mercy to accompany their cold beauty.

Also known as Furies, erinyes are the executionars of Hell. As cruel instruments of diabolical judgements rendered by Archdevils or mortal summoners, they live for the moment when their masters will send them forth into battle to torture and rend their enemies. Despite their beauty, erinyes lack the subtlety for seduction, preferring to solve all their problems with brutal violence. They are expert torturers, able to keep their victims alive with either anatomical precision or healing magic until the blessed moment when they finally decide to end the torment--but it is said that the most powerful of them can continue inflicting agony even after the subject of their ministrations has died.
